The RS-225x jean features a relaxed fit paired with our custom-developed Japanese denim and American construction. The RS (Relaxed Straight) cut is generous and comfortable, featuring a higher rise, plenty of room on the thigh and a wider leg opening. It's the widest cut in our lineup but is by no means a baggy fit. We designed it to be a classic relaxed straight cut jean that is sure to maintain relevance in your wardrobe for years to come.

The RS-225x utilizes our 15.25oz raw double black selvedge denim that has been custom woven exclusively for us by Nihon Menpu Mills in Okayama, Japan. Where our classic 220x double black is known for its tight, uniform weave and smooth hand, the 225x offers a highly textured, vintage-inspired appearance. The 225x fabric is finished with a faded rose pink selvedge ID.

Double black selvedge is what we call black warp/black weft denim, yielding a deep black color that will fade to grey in areas of high wear with time.
