The CS-225x jean features a classic straight fit paired with beautiful custom Japanese raw double black selvedge denim and American construction. The CS (Classic Straight) cut is a true straight leg fit featuring a mid-high rise, room in the hip and thigh with a slight taper from the knee down - loosely modeled after the 1947 501.

The CS-225x utilizes our 15.25oz raw double black selvedge denim that has been custom woven exclusively for us by Nihon Menpu Mills in Okayama, Japan. Where our classic 220x double black is known for its tight, uniform weave and smooth hand, the 225x offers a highly textured, vintage-inspired appearance. The 225x fabric is finished with a faded rose pink selvedge ID.

Double black selvedge is what we call black warp/black weft denim, yielding a deep black color that will fade to grey in areas of high wear with time.
